Meal kits are designed to…

  • Lower stress in the kitchen by providing a fun, delicious, and easy-to-prepare recipe

  • Be convenient by including all of the main ingredients needed for each recipe

  • Inspire a connection to the kitchen

  • Support Hawaiʻi Island’s food system and community

  • Promote health and wellness

  • Encourage families to cook together

  • Provide hands on education for keiki

  • Promote local farmers and ranchers

Families served: 50

Partner organizations: Robert’s Foundation (funder) and The Food Basket Hawaiʻi Island (distributer)

Partner farms: Yokoyama Farms, Hawai’i Beef Producers, Kamuela Cucumbers, Puna Chicks Farm, Markley Farms Hawaiʻi, ʻAina Company, and Kawamata Farms.
