Save The Date: Hawai’i Seafood Month Events 2021

Save-the-date for statewide events coming this October for Sustainable Seafood Month.

As you may already know Chef Hui is a partner of Conservation International Hawaiʻi. We assist them every year with creating events, partnerships, cooking demos and more to support the Sustainable Seafood Movement.

This year we formed a council with eight local chefs to be at the forefront of the movement in Hawaiʻi. All of them will host or participate in events this October that will highlight Taʻape.

Of course due to the current restrictions these events will be more like “dine-ins” at the host restaurants or be held online. Currently we have these two events confirmed:

  • 4-course prefix dinner at Papaʻaina by Chef Lee Anne Wong - Thursday, Oct. 14

  • 5-course prefix dinner at Moon and Turtle by Chefs Mark Pomaski, Jayson Kanekoa and Ocean Kanekoa - Saturday, Oct. 30

  • 4-course prefix dinner at Mud Hen Water by Chef Ed Kenney with special presentation by Local I’a

Details to come on some special taʻape offerings by Chef Mark Oyama on Kauaʻi.

Stay tuned for more information September 15.
